Nestled high on the slopes of Mount Wank, Landhotel Panorama turns a mountain stay into a tranquil experience. Arriving with my partner, we were greeted by stunning panoramic views over Garmisch-Partenkirchen—the perfect backdrop for a relaxing glass of wine on our balcony. The rustic Bavarian decor of the hotel blended perfectly with the alpine scenery, and the quiet ambiance provided a much-needed respite from the hustle and bustle of city life. While the restaurant was only open Wednesday to Sunday, we took advantage of their breakfast offerings, and I couldn't resist trying their homemade cakes paired with a few freshly pulled beers from the lobby fridge. With hiking trails right outside the door and charming walks into town, this hotel guarantees a memorable escape, making it a real gem for those seeking adventure or serenity amid natural beauty.
